Wow what a bloody flippin rockin whacker of a birthday!
We just got back from Martinborough, which is just north of Wellington in the wine trail area.
We scooted out there yesterday morning and arrived at Tirohana Estate
Where we were staying for the night..
I was given by chance a full, expenses paid overnight stay here with John and Wigs. Thanks very much Marg and Bea.. My god, I freaked out when I saw what we were getting..
The photos explain so much, but not nearly as amazing as this pad through the eye.. Whoa!
A very special thanks to Toby, Saranne and Bob for the wonderful welcoming vibe we received from them.. Bloody amazing place!! Will definitely be promoting to countless of friends who come over here..

I got up in the wee hours and took some shots whilst taking Wigs for a walk.

Talking about Wigs, we ahd no one to look after her so  I thought I would give it a go, expecting them to say no.. “Would it be ok to bring her along??” They6 bloody well said yes and along she came.. she stayed in the car for the night and grooved with us during the days..

The House on the left was where we were and the restaurant and vineyard office on the right..

This is BOB, also known famously for the doggy in The Tribe I believe..Wigs got on well with him and seemed happy to chill out by the back of the restaurant.. how convenient..
