The Wellington Botanic Garden features 25 hectares of unique landscape, protected native forest, conifers, specialised plant collections, colourful floral displays, and views over Wellington city.
It is classified as a Garden of National Significance by the Royal New Zealand Institute of Horticulture and is an Historic Places Trust Heritage Area.
I decided it was time to check out the most amazing place of Welliwood and it didn’t let me down.
Actually i found a few of the places OK, but have seen better in the native environments around our house and down at Wet Foot Track..
mostly loved the indoor tropical garden. The most exquisite and delicate ferns all the way through to a massive pond with giant lillies and coy..
Rockin place, will definatey have to go back soon..
