Well I have finally done the last stages of the garden.. That is behind the pond in the back area. It was a massive pile of dirt, which after days of procrastination I have finally shovelled most over the side then levelled it out and added some sides to keep it all in.
I went down under the deck and scrounged around for some good sized ponga and plonked them in each front corner.
I finally found some free horse poo from the local race track and mixed it in well and let it stew, this broke up the hard soil and turned it into quite noice soil..
Have also transplanted some pumpkin, spearmint.. (that took over the garden) and some old daisies that were not doing very well from up the hill.
When we have some spare cash.. yeah right.. Will also cover the surrounds with p metal like around the pond..
Gimme time.. will definately get there..
Also a shot of the Jasmine which is going great guns and climbing well on the lattice.
We have also been able to consume our first tomato… This was the one posted in an earlier page.. I think it is called a “Beefsteak” and was about the size of a tennis ball and the flesh was black..
(one of the most tasties tom I have ever tasted..and unfortunately was consumed far too quickly to even bother with a photo)
There will be more, actually a shit load more…..I counted around 100 last count..
